Our brief was to design a modern, open Neapolitan pizza restaurant that would integrate seamlessly into a newly built plaza-style development.

From the outset, the client had specific requirements — including the integration of a traditional pizza oven and a specialised biscuit-producing machine. We worked closely with them at every stage, maintaining regular communication to ensure the project stayed aligned with their vision.

This collaboration covered everything from kitchen design and counter layouts, to equipment sourcing and front-of-house interior design.

The result is a smart, modern, and inviting pizzeria that not only looks fantastic but also functions efficiently and productively. With its immediate success, the client is already planning future expansions.

This project required the creation of a modern commercial kitchen hub unlike anything else in the area. The client’s vision included a large communal production kitchen, alongside multiple individual prep kitchens available for hire, supported by ample storage facilities to ensure efficiency and flexibility.

Innovation was a key driver, with the integration of Tesla charging stations and a strong emphasis on greenery and sustainable design principles throughout the facility.

As the first development of its kind in the area, this hub has been designed to set a new benchmark in commercial kitchen spaces, while strengthening the client’s growing portfolio and positioning them as leaders in the industry.

This project involved transforming one of New Zealand’s most iconic waterfront venues into a dynamic restaurant, bar, and café. Designed to maximise the panoramic coastal views, the space features an open kitchen concept that keeps much of the activity visible to diners, enhancing both atmosphere and engagement.

The client’s vision was for a minimal, industrial-inspired aesthetic, combining exposed brickwork, raw metals, natural woods, and concrete finishes. Through careful planning and attention to detail, we developed a concept that balances functionality with bold visual appeal, creating an inviting and memorable experience for both staff and guests.

The project has now won the tender and is scheduled to begin construction later this year, with completion targeted for mid-2026.
